Plan your orientation

After accepting your offer to study at university, the next step is preparing for your first semester. Studies show students who attend Orientation set themselves up for the best outcomes while at university.

The La Trobe University Orientation program is delivered in a few different ways, which means you have the option of accessing on-demand content at times convenient to you, as well as meeting students and staff in live online sessions and face-to-face at our many campuses.

Here’s a quick run-down of the different Orientation delivery modes:

On Demand
These are recordings which are available 24/7 on the ON24 platform, where you can ask questions and access more resources. Access all the Orientation On Demand resources now.

In Person
These sessions are on campus, usually during O’Week of each semester.

You can get details of these sessions via the Orientation Planner, which is available 4-6 weeks prior to Orientation each semester.

Live Online
These sessions are presented using Zoom or MS Teams.

You can get details of these sessions via the Orientation Planner, which is available 4-6 weeks prior to Orientation each semester.
